Hey friends!

We have the printed proof of Land of Vampires: Risen Retribution in hand, and we are excited to share it with you. Here is a short video flip through so you can see how the physical campaign book turned out.

Overall, the book came out beautifully! Seeing this story in a real, physical format is honestly surreal, and it makes us even more excited to get it shipped to you.

What happens next

We are making a few minor tweaks based on what we noticed in the proof. Nothing major, just the final polish to make sure the print run is as strong as it can be. I'll get this done today! And this weekend we will place the order for the full print run.

I am locking addresses in Backerkit with Final Notice! If you ordered a physical edition, please make sure that your shipping details are complete and accurate to prevent any delays!

Timeline: The printer typically takes about two weeks + to get the books to us after the order is placed. As soon as they arrive, we will begin shipping the physical editions out to backers. You'll receive tracking information to the email that you have with Backerkit.

Quick and exciting update: the print proofs for Land of Vampires: Risen Retribution are officially ordered. Here is what happens next:

• The proofs ship to me first.
• I will review them closely for print quality (color, clarity, binding, and overall feel).
• Once I approve the proofs, we will place the full print order.
• As soon as the bulk order arrives, we will begin shipping books out to backers.

I will post another update as soon as I have the physical books in hand so I can share photos with you!

It's Happening! Digital Fulfillment is Imminent!

Hey there Wonderful Backers, 

Writing is done. 

Editing is done. 

Layout and Art... done.

We are stepping up our map game a bit with this release and working with an artist to bring you 5 really cool maps to make navigating the adventure that much more fun. He's in final revisions now. I anticipate I'll have them today or tomorrow. 

After that, this week is a final check that all systems are go and you'll get your digital editions of LoV2: Risen Retribution!

This book really is a big step forward in our game design and I'm so excited to see what you think. Thank you for your patience as our small but mighty team pushes this project over the finish line. 

When we started this journey, the plan was for this book to be roughly 2/3 the length of the first campaign. It has ended up being the same size as book one! That's a lot more adventure and interesting characters and dastardly villains for you to experience with your gaming partner. 

When we get back from holiday travels, my number one priority is getting physical books printed. With all the creation complete, this biggest unknown between now and getting the book in your hands is how long the printers take. We use professional printing through Ingram Spark to publish our materials.

The next time you hear from me should be to announce that your digital editions are in your mailbox!

Writing Complete! Editing Complete! Layout Begins! 🦇📜

Lovely Backers, we’ve crossed another great milestone... the writing for Land of Vampires: Risen Retribution is officially complete!

This includes all the extra content promised during the campaign:

• The Cache of the Nightwarden — a hidden trove of the tools and relics Lord Draego used to defend Steymhorod from the encroaching Shadowlands.
• The Bloodbound Bestiary — a dark menagerie of monsters, horrors, and haunts unique to this cursed realm.
• All three Boss Bounties — epic encounters to challenge even the most seasoned heroes.

With the last words now written, we’re into layout and design, bringing these chapters, stat blocks, and side quests to life on the page. Once layout is complete, we’ll move immediately to fulfilling all digital orders.

Beth and I are so grateful for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we bring this project to fruition. Risen Retribution has grown into something so far beyond what I initially imagined it could be, and that's all thanks to you.
